Banbury Maintenance Station

Project Description

Construction of a new light maintenance depot and associated sidings, approximately 500m South of Banbury Main Line Station.

Works included, but are not limited to, the following operations: -

Groundworks, detailed reinforcement and complex concrete works, in excess of 5,500m3, associated with new buildings, rail sidings and multiple maintenance platforms.

Drainage, external services and infrastructure works associated with access roads and concrete service yards.

Specialist deep drainage associated with complex water storage systems including sustainable O-void pipe systems, attenuation tanks, 3 x interceptors, foul and storm water pump stations and fire tank storage system

Full temporary works design and installation of sheet pile coffer dams to allow installation of all deep drainage items.
