Aden are now using HVO Fuel

Aden have had their first delivery of HVO Green D+

Aden have just had their first delivery of HVO Green D+ to their new site at the University of Hertfordshire, where we are providing the groundworks package for the new engineering block for Morgan Sindall Construction. We will be trialling the use of HVO on this site in all our plant and machinery.

Green D + HVO is a renewable, biodegradable fuel which is made from 100% renewable raw materials. Green D + is a drop in, direct replacement for diesel and can be used in all diesel engines. It is an enhancement of HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil), a low emission fossil-free diesel alternative that significantly reduces NOx levels up to 30%, reduces CO2e levels up to 90%, PM levels by 86% and improves local air quality, making the air cleaner an added benefit is that it is also odourless.

For every litre of diesel, we are changing to Green D+ HVO we will be saving around 2.82KG of CO2e which will significantly help us towards our net zero in our own operations by 2030 goal. All the information on HVO has been provided to us by New Era Fuels.
