Aden Supports the Peralta Wind Power Project, Uruguay.

The project Aden have chosen to support this quarter is the Peralta Wind Power Project in Uruguay. By supporting this project, we have been able to offset 25% of our carbon emissions from the last quarter.

The project is an onshore wind farm located at 280 km north from Montevideo, near the village of Peralta (Uruguay). This wind farm consists of 25 wind turbines with 2MW each, resulting in total installed capacity of 50 MW. The purpose of the project is to generate renewable electricity to the national grid of Uruguay. The project will help Uruguay ́s energy independence from Argentina and Brazil, by taking advantage of its renewable wind resource. This project comes with a Verified Carbon Standard and all information from this project was given to Aden Contracting by Carbon Footprint Ltd.
