Aden Supports The Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary

Aden Supports the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary, Cambodia.

By supporting this project, we will be helping The Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary to reduce emissions from deforestation and degradation as well as offsetting 25% of our overall carbon emissions from the last quarter.

The KSWS REDD+ project is the largest carbon emission reduction program in Cambodia’s land use sector and has played a critical role in demonstrating REDD+ successes conserving high biodiversity value landscapes. Experiences from the implementation of the KSWS REDD+ project is also providing important learning outcomes informing the design of Cambodia’s National REDD+ Program, as part of the country’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions under the Paris Climate Agreement.

This project protects the forests and the carbon stored in the vegetation in order to reduce carbon emissions going back into the atmosphere. The project also aims to conserve the culture and tradition of indigenous communities and local communities where they are living within the Protection Forest area.

This project comes with a Verified Carbon Standard and all information on it was given to us by Carbon Footprint Ltd.
