Aden receives Perfect Delivery Award from Morgan Sindall

Aden receives the perfect delivery award for their work at Glebe Farm School, Milton Keynes.

We are very proud to have received the Perfect Delivery Award from Morgan Sindall Construction for our work at Glebe Farm School, Milton Keynes. A massive well done to everyone involved.

Aden were on site at the fossil free, low carbon school from March 2021 – September 2022, our groundworks package included the following works;

The site strip, cut and fill, foundations, reinforced ground floor slab including insulation and waterproofing. Concrete works to upper floors. Foul and storm water drainage, including attenuation systems. Culverts, headwalls and services. All the hard and soft landscaping works.

The school itself was constructed to be 'gas free' in line with the Milton Keynes council's vision for future sustainability.

The new school has been built with air source heat pumps which absorb heat from the outside air, these will provide all the energy needed for heating and hot water. As well as ultra-efficient LEDs which will provide the lighting, whilst hundreds of solar panels will generate power for the building.

Glebe Farm School is an excellent example of forward-thinking design, built on a vision to improve sustainability, social and environmental efficiency, and inclusivity for the school of 1,500 students.
