Apprentice Case Study – Tyrell Bailey

Meet Tyrell Bailey, Aden’s New Health & Safety Apprentice

Tyrell is currently doing his level three SHE Technician apprenticeship and has been with Aden since October 2022. In a short space of time, Tyrell has proved to be an integral part of the team; organising training, working closely with his colleagues, representing the company at events and supporting our Senior Health & Safety Manager. He is proving to be a true rising star of the company.

We sat with Tyrell and asked him some questions on how he is finding his first few months with us here at Aden.

Why did you choose an apprenticeship?

I chose an apprenticeship, since it’s a great opportunity to learn while gaining valuable on the job experience.

What do you like about working for Aden?

Working for Aden allows me to visit different projects regularly and be around different people. This allows me to develop my skills, since different days I will be conducting different tasks and speaking to new people.

How does Aden Support you?

Aden supports me by providing regular training. Providing external training courses and having supportive senior members off staff on site and in the offices who are always very polite and happy to help.

What advice would you give to others looking to do an apprenticeship?

If you’re unsure on what you want to do after finishing school/further education. An apprenticeship with the right company can provide you with relevant working and life skills that can put you on track for the future.

We wish Tyrell the best of luck with his apprenticeship.
