Every September, people around the globe come together to observe World Alzheimer's Month, an essential campaign dedicated to raising awareness about dementia and supporting those affected by the disease. Within this month of reflection and action, World Alzheimer's Day, held annually on September 21st, serves as a focal point to amplify efforts and spark conversations about this critical health issue.

At Aden, we hold this cause very close to our hearts. That’s why we were thrilled to welcome Soraya Bowen, the Regional Fundraiser for The Alzheimer's Society, during her visit to our premises in September 2024. Soraya joined us to commemorate the incredible fundraising success of our annual Charity Golf Days—an initiative we have been proudly hosting since 2017. While the pandemic caused a temporary pause in our efforts, the spirit and generosity of our clients and suppliers have ensured the event remains a significant highlight of our calendar.

The occasion was made even more special by a heart-warming surprise for our entire team. We discovered that, to date, our Charity Golf Days have raised an astonishing £14,201.22 for The Alzheimer's Society. This achievement reflects not only the dedication of our team but also the incredible generosity of our attendees and supporters.

Your contributions make a real difference, helping The Alzheimer's Society continue its vital work as the UK’s leading dementia charity.
