Project Description

Aden are pleased to announce the successful completion of the groundworks package for the new build Teaching and Learning Facility, delivered for Wates Construction on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council. The works were undertaken under an NEC Option A subcontract.

Our package included a full cut-and-fill strategy to accommodate the existing site topography, construction of reinforced concrete foundations and ground floor slab, installation of drainage systems including attenuation tanks and a foul pumping station, service infrastructure, and all associated hard and soft landscaping works.

In addition, Aden carried out the S278, S184 and S50 works to the local highway network to support safe access and future connectivity.

Early enabling works commenced in May 2023 with the main works progressing through to completion towards the end of 2024.
