Project Description

Aden have secured the Groundworks package for SDC Builders Ltd on behalf of the University of Cambridge. This project involves the demolition of the existing ticketing kiosk and the construction of a significantly larger and more modern entrance building, designed to accommodate the growing number of visitors. The new facility will not only enhance the visitor experience but also provide essential amenities to support the site's increasing footfall.

The development primarily consists of a newly built retail unit incorporating a state-of-the-art ticket office. Our comprehensive scope of works includes essential enabling works, reinforced concrete ground beams and pad foundations, and the installation of reinforced concrete ground floor slabs. Additionally, we will undertake extensive drainage works, including modifications to the existing foul and storm water systems, as well as upgrades to utility services. To complement the new structure, our team will also carry out high-quality external hard and soft landscaping, ensuring a seamless and aesthetically pleasing integration with the surrounding environment.
