Aden have secured the Groundworks package for the new Leighton Buzzard Leisure Centre for our clients Willmott Dixon, delivering on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council. This achievement builds on our proven track record of excellence, having previously completed the successful construction of Flitwick Leisure Centre and Kingsland Leisure Centre. Our ongoing collaboration underscores the trust and confidence placed in Aden’s expertise and commitment to quality.

The upcoming scheme is a significant project that encompasses the development of a state-of-the-art leisure facility. Key features of the project include the construction of three reinforced concrete swimming pools, each designed to accommodate varying sizes and specific functional requirements. The groundworks package involves complex substructure elements, such as reinforced concrete foundations, walls, and slabs, ensuring the structural integrity of the facility.

Additionally, the scope of work includes a comprehensive drainage system with advanced features like attenuation tanks, backwash systems, and foul pumping stations. This infrastructure is critical to ensuring the facility operates efficiently and meets stringent environmental standards. Utility services will be seamlessly integrated into the development to support the facility's functionality.

Beyond the core building elements, the project also involves extensive external works. This includes hard landscaping, such as pathways and paved areas, as well as soft landscaping to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the surrounding environment.
