Project Description

Aden has been contracted to carry out and complete a comprehensive groundworks package at Manor High School in Oadby, Leicestershire. The works include the supply, delivery, setting out, and installation of various groundworks components necessary for the successful completion of the project.

The project involves the construction of a new two storey sports hall with changing rooms, new classrooms as well as external parking and fencing which will allow for community use, as part of the school’s expansion from 900 to 1050 school places.

Aden’s Scope of Works includes;

Excavation work to prepare the site, including trenching, grading, and soil removal. Execute filling operations using suitable materials to achieve required levels and compaction.

Construct structural platforms as per design specifications, ensuring they provide a stable base for subsequent construction activities. Provide support and services for piling attendance.

Supply, install, and connect attenuation tanks for storm water management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Construct all required foundations, ensuring alignment with structural designs.

Carry out all concreting works, including pouring, levelling, and finishing of concrete slabs, bases, and other structural elements.

Install and connect all necessary drainage systems, including storm water and sewage systems, ensuring proper flow and discharge.

Provide the groundwork for various services including trenching, conduit installation, and backfilling.

Execute hard landscaping works, including paving, kerbing, and other surface treatments as specified in the project plan.

Perform any additional associated works to complete the groundworks for the project. All works to be completed within the agreed project timeframe.
